The goal of this bench study was to look at the pressure attenuation observed by using The MetaNeb(R) System with various size endotrachael tubes. In an in vitro model, the study explored the difference in peak inspiratory pressure at both proximal and distal ends of the endotrachael tube. The study found Continuous High-Frequency Oscillation (CHFO) may be safe when used with an artificial airway.
